Born in Guyana and now living in Aarhus, Gillian brings both her South American roots and more than 40 years of life experience across different countries and cultures to the table.
Food has always been deeply connected to family and gathering in her life. Growing up in Guyana, Sundays meant coming together after church: large family lunches, conversation, laughter, and spending time slowly around the table.
Warm, curious, and thoughtful, Gillian has worked across many different fields including teaching, engineering, volunteering, and women’s health advocacy. She has always loved hosting and creating spaces where people feel welcome.
