Lian's dinners aren't about her, they're about you.
As a guide to storytelling and deep listening circles, Lian creates an atmosphere where people feel deeply connected to themselves, to their own stories, and to each other.
Her circles are built around connection: the quiet, human experience of being heard, seen, and understood without judgment.
Lian calls herself a Silver Crone - an elderly woman with lived wisdom and a steady presence. Her role is not to talk about herself, but to keep a space where your voice, your reflections, and your insights can unfold naturally.
No storytelling experience is necessary - just come as you are.
Lian's work is shaped by her Malaysian-Chinese heritage, her sensitivity to human stories, and her background in writing. She is the author of My Bumpy Ride to Inner Peace, A Listening Grandmother and is currently completing her third book, A Forgiving Grandmother - My Path of Alchemy.
About dinner
Serving a home-cooked Malaysian meal, Lian draws on decades of expertise to invite meaningful conversation around themes such as identity, self-discovery and finding inner peace.
Her conviction is simple: we already have the answers we need, we just need to speak from the heart and be true witnesses. In her dinners, she makes it happen. You will leave with:
• Greater clarity about the reality you are creating
• Deeper trust in your own voice
• The experience of being truly heard
• Meaningful connection with others
Each gathering is shaped by those present. No two evenings are the same.
