Karen Blincoe has spent over 30 years working at the highest levels of sustainable design and education. She has pioneered sustainability initiatives such as founding the ICIS Center and co-founding Chora 2030 in Denmark, published her first book: the A-Z of sustainability and human behaviour, and shaped national agendas. But what stands out is her presence: clear, generous, and brave as ever. Looking back on her life she says, “everything I was exposed to in childhood - the stories, the nature, the systems - became a foundation for a life in education, culture, and sustainability.” But that life didn’t unfold in a straight line. Karen always followed her intuition and it led her to places she never could have planned. Now, she opens her design home in Hornbæk for dinner with 8 guests. It’s not a talk or a lecture, but an invitation into honest, human conversation and a chance to reflect on the patterns that shape our lives.
