Dinner at Lasse's: The Art of Choosing Your Life

Lasse has spent much of his life taking advantage of the opportunities life has offered. Over the years he has owned a record shop, worked as a carpenter, sailed on ships, founded an NGO in Nepal, designed furniture, built his own minimalist home, and travelled the world for several months every year. One opportunity has simply seemed to lead to the next.

In 1998, Lasse founded Children Nepal Denmark, an NGO focused on education, equality, and human rights for low-caste children. Alongside this work, he continued designing furniture and eventually built the minimalist home where he now hosts guests.

What connects it all is a deep curiosity for people, cultures, autonomy, and the different ways a life can be shaped and lived. He is always experimenting, testing ideas and pushing his own limits. As Lasse puts it: "There must be limits somewhere, but I haven't found them yet."

Lasse is just as interested in hearing his guests' stories as sharing his own, and wants the evening to feel open, thoughtful, and shaped by everyone around the table.
