Dinner at Mahasiah's: Learning to Dance with Life

Mahasiah lives surrounded by nature near Esrum, where fields stretch beyond her home and life moves at a different pace from the city.

Her own life has taken some unexpected turns. Trained in political science and African studies, Mahasiah spent years working with humanitarian causes, reconciliation and refugee camp leadership. Later, a journey to Brazil challenged the way she had been approaching life altogether.

She describes the shift simply: “What I did before, I did by knowledge. Now I do it from intuition and life experience.”

Over the years, this has developed into a philosophy Mahasiah calls The Art of Being – an exploration of how we live, what allows us to thrive, and what changes when we stop struggling against life and learn to dance with it instead.

About Dinner

Over a homemade vegetarian meal in her home near Esrum, Mahasiah shares stories from the very different chapters of her life and invites guests into conversation about how we choose to live.

Expect stories, questions, different perspectives and plenty of room for the conversation to wander. On warmer evenings, dinner may end outside around the bonfire, surrounded by the nature Mahasiah has chosen to make her home.
