Inger and Susanne met as neighbours over 27 years ago, in a housing community specifically designed by an architect to make people connect. That founding idea — that the spaces we inhabit should bring us closer together — never left them. Since then, they have built a friendship full of spontaneous conversations, shared creativity, knitting circles, volunteering, a love of music, and the occasional glass of wine in the sun.
Between them, they bring a lifetime of experience: Inger is a former architect and artist who loves painting, and Susanne is an environmental lawyer who has worked at the heart of Danish environmental policy, and is a talented musician. Two different paths, yet one very shared philosophy about what a wealthy life looks like. Not money — but time, creativity, friendship, and finding beauty in the small things.
Over a homemade meal in one of their homes, the conversation will move across creativity, community, ageing well, and what it actually means to feel rich in life. They are both, in their own words, very good at living. This is what they want to share with guests.
