Tine says she was always meant to be an artist. It just took her a few detours to get there.
She trained as a teacher, worked as a clothing designer, helped run a small farm, and eventually found her place in the world of animation, a profession she loved for 35 years. As one of the first female travelling supervisors in the cartoon industry, her work took her across countries and creative cultures, from Ireland to Thailand and beyond.
Today, Tine lives in a Nørrebro apartment overflowing with paintings, sketches, embroidery and creative projects. A minimalist home, she says, is simply not for her. She lives with her husband, Bosse, who she describes as a creative, "curly" soul, sybarite and freethinker. Their home is well lived-in, and the artwork on the walls is constantly changing as new ideas take shape.
About Dinner
Around her dinner table, Tine invites guests into a conversation about the unexpected paths life can take. What do we do when things do not go to plan? How do setbacks, coincidences and fortunate accidents shape who we become?
Over a traditional Danish meal, she will share stories from a life of creative reinvention, eccentric workplaces, travel, resilience and making the best of what happens.
A thoughtful, funny and honest evening for anyone interested in creativity, life choices, and the strange way things often only make sense in hindsight.
