Jesper is a visual artist with over 40 years of experience working with photography and video. Since 2005, he has created a wide range of video works – from fiction to documentaries – often in collaboration with performers and artists across Europe. He is the co-founder of the international arts festival Berlin Soup, held in Berlin, Copenhagen, and Athens.
Today, much of Jesper’s artistic life revolves around Studio 7, situated on Amager beach. His favorite shooting hours are Sunrisetime and the blue hour at the end of the day.
You are invited into Jesper’s home and beautiful garden, nearby the beach. Guests will have a chance to see a selection of his video work and hear the stories behind it.
Jesper is a lifelong learner with a deep love for poetry, art, and conversation – he enjoys engaging with curious people and exchanging thoughts, opinions, and ideas.
Human tip: Jesper loves umbrellas, he owns over 100! They often appear in his work.
