Dinner at Jacqui's: A Lifetime Creating Change

  • København
  • 2:30 hours
  • English

Jacqui has over 30 years experience working with change on many levels – from shifting societal norms and transforming organisational culture to understanding individual behaviours in order to influence them.

Originally from the UK, Jacqui spent much of her career working in global health from Bangladesh, Ghana, Tanzania to Georgia and Moldova to reduce inequalities in health. She has developed and led communication campaigns to create social change and promote behaviours on many issues including HIV, immunisation, gender violence, maternal and child health, and COVID, working at every level: within communities, in the media, with technology, and with governments. More recently Jacqui trained as a coach and works with people to manage and adopt change in their professional work lives.

Jacqui lives with her Danish husband Lars in a historic Christianshavn home, famously known as the Lagkagehuset building that inspired the name of the bakery chain. This is where she will host her Silvers Dinner.

About Dinner

Over a homemade meal, Jacqui will share her experience of working to create change – and the social and individual impact it can have. She’ll also open a conversation about how norms shape behaviour, and the things we can’t easily change in our environment that are, in turn, changing us.

Jacqui wants this evening to be a relaxed and interesting conversation, a chance to exchange views and reflect together on what drives change in our own lives and societies, and what it means to us.

SILVERS is a Copenhagen-based platform connecting guests with experienced people over dinners and conversations in their homes.
