Lian's dinners aren't about her, they are about you.
As a longtime guide in transformation and storytelling, Lian’s mission is to create a space for guests to reflect, share and connect. Her role is not to speak about herself, but to guide a storytelling circle where your voice, your story, and your insights are the focus.
Serving up a home-cooked Malaysian meal, Lian draws on decades of expertise to invite meaningful conversation around themes like identity, self-discovery, and finding inner peace.
Her conviction is simple: we already have the answers we need, we just need to speak from the heart and be true witnesses. In her dinners, she makes it happen.
This experience is slightly different to other Silvers dinners — rather than sharing her own life story, Lian uses her background to help others open up. It’s best suited for those who are curious about storytelling, personal reflection, and deep connection. Come as you are: beginners in storytelling are very welcome.
About Lian
Lian calls herself a Silver Crone — an older woman with deep wisdom and a desire to help others find their true selves. For over two decades, she worked as a transformation coach before shifting her focus to storytelling and deep listening circles.
Lian’s work is shaped by her Malaysian-Chinese heritage, her background in writing, and a lifelong interest in how personal narratives shape identity, belonging, and legacy. She is the author of My Bumpy Ride to Inner Peace and is currently writing her second book, The Listening of a Grandmama. Lian has led storytelling and deep listening circles in diverse settings, always with an emphasis on reflection, authenticity, and shared human connection.
