Silvers Dinner: Phuong's Vietnamese cuisine

50+ years of cooking and creating across cultures has taught Phuong that a meal is more than nourishment - it’s a way to connect and understand one another. She grew up in a small village in central Vietnam, where food was at the heart of daily life. From her grandmother who lived off her own vegetables until the age of 90, to her mother who taught her the rituals of respect at the table, Phuong learned early that food is about culture, nutrition, joy, and connection - a medicine for life. Her journey later took her far from home: to Hanoi, where she ran her own tailoring shop; to Bhutan, where she taught young designers how to turn traditional textiles into modern clothing; and to the Philippines, where she earned a degree in fashion design. Since 2010, she has made Copenhagen her home, continuing her craft while building a new life in Denmark. About Dinner Phuong loves to host. Over dinner, she invites you to experience the flavours and traditions she grew up with. Together you will prepare authentic Vietnamese spring rolls, while she shares stories of her life across cultures, and experience how food becomes a way to express care, identity, and belonging. About SILVERS SILVERS is a Copenhagen-based platform that connects guests with the knowledge of the senior generation, over dinners in their homes. Our Silver hosts include creatives, leaders, and entrepreneurs; others are sailors, community builders, or simply great hosts with interesting life stories.

Discover and choose from our list of experienced seniors hosts across Denmark

2. Book your seat

Get access to silvers homes and their expertise around the table. Guests of all ages are welcome.

3. Join the table

Each dinner brings 5–8 guests together of all ages. Ask questions, and be inspired by real life knowledge. What does the price cover?
The price covers the cost of hosting (food, access to the host's home, and their time) and operations (developing the SILVERS platform, taxes and growth.)

Be ready to get involved, everyone plays an active role in this dinner!
