Henning has over 30 years of experience in education, community building, and active aging. He lives with his wife Marianne in a senior collective in Roskilde - a community they helped shape when it was built in 2009. Designed around shared spaces, collaboration, and neighbourly responsibility, it has since become a model for modern senior living in Denmark, with a growing waiting list each year.
Henning is deeply involved in the collective’s working groups, including the economy committee. He is passionate about how communities function, how people live well together, and how engagement keeps us active throughout life. He loves meeting new people and hearing what they care about, what drives them, and how they understand community in their own lives.
About Dinner
Before the meal, Henning will give a short tour of the collective and explain how the community works — its shared spaces, its routines, and the balance between independence and living with others in mind. Afterwards, you’ll sit down to a homemade meal and a conversation shaped by the themes that matter to him and Marianne: aging with purpose, building meaningful connections, and creating environments where people thrive together.

SILVERS is a platform based in Copenhagen that connects guests with the senior generation's knowledge over dinners in their homes. Our Silver hosts include creative individuals, executives and entrepreneurs; others are sailors, community builders or simply amazing hosts with interesting life stories.

Each dinner brings 5–8 guests together of all ages. Ask questions, and be inspired by real life knowledge.
What does the price cover?
The price covers the cost of hosting (food, access to the host's home, and their time) and operations (developing the SILVERS platform, taxes and growth.)
