Born and raised in India, Sarah moved to Denmark at 26 and has spent the past 50 years building a life across cultures. Navigating the challenges of culture shock, she started over in a new country and carried her love of Indian cooking into Danish homes through family meals, catering, and community gatherings. About Dinner Sarah is full of stories about home, resilience, and finding her way in Denmark - and she is ready to share her life experience around her table. Join dinner in her home in Kildebakke, just a short train ride from Copenhagen, and experience an evening of Indian flavours and stories from her life. On the menu

Starters: fish cutlets, vegetable bhaji
Main: chicken, minced meat, or beef dishes (with vegetarian options available)
Dessert: traditional Indian sweets or milk-based desserts

About SILVERS SILVERS is a Copenhagen-based platform that connects guests with the knowledge of the senior generation, over dinners in their homes. Our Silver hosts include creatives, leaders, and entrepreneurs; others are sailors, community builders, or simply great hosts with interesting life stories.

Practical information

Here's how it works:

1. Find a silver

Discover and choose from our list of experienced seniors hosts across Denmark

2. Book your seat

Get access to silvers homes and their expertise around the table. Guests of all ages are welcome.

3. Join the table

Each dinner brings 5–8 guests together of all ages. Ask questions, and be inspired by real life knowledge. What does the price cover?
The price covers the cost of hosting (food, access to the host's home, and their time) and operations (developing the SILVERS platform, taxes and growth.)

Dinner will be in English or Danish depending on the guests.
Sarah's home is a 17 minute train ride from Norreport.
Please arrive on time.
You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
